The Tanrin guesthouse provides spacious, comfortable and clean accommodation at very affordable prices.  All rooms are decorated in the Northern Thai style.  The river view rooms are facing East so you will get the added bonus of sunsets as well as a view into the daily Thai river life.

Our guesthouse is situated on the river Pasak in the heart of Ayutthaya city, behind the Seven Seas restaurant.  Its location is conveniently near to the ferry and the railway station as well as the many temples, ancient ruins and other tourist attractions of Ayutthaya.  You can find us easily by using the interactive map here. 

The Tanrin guesthouse also has 24 hour security surveillance. 

If you are staying in Ayutthaya for some time it is also possible to arrange long term rental.

The Tanrin guesthouse reception is located at the Seven Seas restaurant.  If you arrive by train you will find the Seven Seas restaurant to the left of the train station on the opposite side of the road.  It's about 100 metres or so. 

The Seven Seas restaurant and bar was founded in August 2008 and is managed by Khun Aom.  As chief cook she has travelled for many years on her Dutch husband's ships along the European coasts.  This fact, as well as Ayutthaya once being a sea port explains the name The Seven Seas.

The Seven Seas restaurant and bar has a great ambiance.  Its country style decoration and displays of various ships gives the place a nice atmosphere.  It's the perfect place to relax after a day of sight-seeing while waiting for your train.  The food and drink are very reasonably priced too.  The price of food dishes vary from 30 to 80 Baht.  Draft Singha beer is 120 Baht for 1 litre, or 3 litres for 350 Baht.  We also have a variety of western food available as well.
